
KAIDEC publication regulation.
Article 1. Purpose
The purpose of this regulation is to set forth the matters concerning the publication of the International Development and Cooperation Review (hereinafter referred to as "the journal") which is published in KAIDEC (hereinafter referred to as "the association").
Article 2. Editorial Committee
1. (Duties of the Editorial Committee) The editorial board shall supervise the establishment and revision of the regulations related to the publication of the journal.
and the examination, editing, publishing and other matters specified in this regulation.
2. (Composition of Editorial Committee) The editorial committee shall consist of 12 editorial committee members, including one editorial chairman and one editorial staff member.
3. (Editorial Committee meeting) The editorial committee meeting is called by the editor-in-chief from time to time as necessary. The editorial committee shall be held with the attendance of a majority of the members of the editorial committee and shall be voted on by a majority of the members present.
4. (Duties of the editor-in-chief) The editor-in-chief is responsible for the publication of the journal and presides at the editorial committee meeting.
5. (Qualification and Appointment of Editorial Chairperson) The editor chairperson should be a person with a doctoral degree in international development cooperation and related fields, who has proven expert knowledge and experience accumulated. The president of the institute will be selected by resolution of the board of directors .5h
6. (Qualification and Appointment of Editor and Editor-in-chief)
(1) The editorial committee should be a holder of a Phg.D. degree in international development cooperation and related fields. However, if necessary, a person who has proven expert knowledge and experience accumulation in the field of international development cooperation, even if he does not have a doctoral degree, may become an editorial committee member.
(2) The editorial committee shall be selected not only in the field of study but also in the distribution plan of the whole country.
(3) Editors and editor-in-chiefs are recommended by the editor-in-chief and the president of the society is selected after the board of directors meeting resolves.
7. (Term of editorial chairperson, editorial board and editorial secretary) The term of editorial chairman, editorial board and editorial secretary shall be two years.
Article 3. Publication Times and publication Days.
This journal is published four times a year. The first issue will be published on March 31, the second will be published in June 30, the third will be published on September 30, and the fourth will be published on December 31.
Article 4. Content and Types of Manuscripts on Publication
1. Content and nature of thesis The thesis presented in this journal should be limited to research related to international development cooperation and should be an unpublished paper with originality and academic character..
2. (Types of Manuscripts) Manuscripts included in this journal include research papers, research reports, research notes, and book reviews. Research papers refer to papers where empirical and theoretical analyzes are conducted. A research report refers to a paper that technically reports the results of field surveys. A research note refers to a paper that introduces and suggests the topic of an academically meaningful study. The type of manuscript should be indicated on the insertion application. If it is determined that the type of manuscript displayed in the insertion application differs from the nature of the submitted manuscript, the editorial committee may amend the manuscript with the consent of the contributor.
Article 5. Publication Application and Manuscript Submission
1. (Submission of publication application) Any person who wants to publish in this journal should submit an application for publication of manuscript (Attached Form 1) to the editor-in-chief or editor-in-chief by e-mail. Application for manuscripts is from December 15 to January 20 of the corresponding year in case of each volume 1, from March 15 to April 15 of the year in case of No. 2, and from June 15 to July 7 15th, and in case of 4th, from September 15th to October 15th of the relevant year.
2. (Submission of manuscript) Any person who wants to publish in this journal should submit the manuscript to the editor-in-chief or editor-in-chief by e-mail. Manuscripts are issued from December 15 to January 20 of the corresponding year in the case of each volume 1, from March 15 to April 15 in the case of the second year, and from June 15 to July 15, And in case of No. 4, it must be submitted by 15th to October 15th of the corresponding year.
3. (Author section of two or more manuscripts) In case of manuscripts written jointly, the first author must be specified in the insertion application. In the manuscript, the authors name should be written in the order of first author, do.
4. (System and amount of manuscript)
(1) Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the principle of manuscript preparation prescribed separately by the editorial committee.
(2) Manuscripts should be written in Korean or English. If an English paper is submitted, several copies may be collected and published in the Special Supplement Section.
(3) In the manuscript, the main concept (keywords / keywords) that informs the core of the manuscript should be presented at the end of the manuscript, in five Korean and English words, respectively.
(4) Manuscripts to be published must be submitted with English title and abstract in case of Korean manuscript, and Korean title and Korean abstract should be attached in case of English manuscript.
(5) In principle, the amount of manuscripts should not exceed 150 sheets of 200-character manuscripts in the case of research papers, research reports, and research notes, and should not exceed 50 in the case of book reviews. The Editorial Board may request amendments to manuscripts that exceed the prescribed amount.
(6) If a manuscript whose publication has been confirmed exceeds the prescribed amount, the editorial committee may request an additional burden of the manuscript for the manuscript.
5. (Return of manuscript) Manuscript submitted is not returned.
Article 6. Examination and Judgment of Manuscripts)
1. (Determination of manuscripts and whether or not to submit manuscripts) Manuscripts of research papers, research reports, research notes, etc. will be judged whether or not to be published.
-Appoint paper examiner
(1) The editorial committee selects two paper examiner for each manuscript.
(2) The paper examiner shall be selected in consideration of the major area of the submitted manuscript, and those who work in the same university or institution as the manuscript submitter shall be excluded as far as possible
(3) The paper examiner shall be basically awarded doctoral degrees in the field of research and have excellent research ability. However, even if a doctoral degree is not required, a person who is recognized for accumulating professional knowledge and experience in the field of research may be appointed as a paper examiner
(4) The editorial committee can not participate in a paepr examiner selection process of the manuscript submitted by the editor.
Process of examination
(1) Manuscripts that are not written in accordance with the principles of manuscript writing may be excluded from the examination
(2) For fair review, the plaintiff deletes all information that can be known or guessed by the plaintiff, and then sends the plaintiff to the judges.
(3)Do not let reviewers know the identity of the judges for fair review.
(4) The judge shall select the manuscript for the manuscript by selecting one of A, B, C or D. And submit the evaluation evaluation sheet (attached sheet form 2) to the editorial committee with the evaluation, reason for the evaluation, and requirements for modification.
(5) The personal information related to the judges and the results of the examination shall not be disclosed to others. (Judgment of publication and notification of judgment result)
(1) The editorial committee shall decide whether to submit the manuscript to the editorial committee with respect to the opinions of the judges as far as possible without any special reason, and notify the authors of the final judgment result.
(2) The editorial committee can not participate in the publication decision process for the manuscript submitted by him.

(4) Manuscripts that have been judged to be "without correction" can be published in the journal of the issue without modification
(5) Contributors of manuscripts that are judged to be "post-revision" must submit revised manuscripts within the deadline set by the editorial committee. The editorial committee may cancel the publication decision of the plaintiff if the plaintiff is not amended without justifiable reasons, in accordance with the amendment and supplementary requirements.
(6) A manuscript determined to be revised after the whole revision shall be re-examined and decided whether or not to submit the manuscript after submitting a new manuscript publication application and a manuscript that has been completely revised.
(7) Manuscripts which are judged to be unavailable can not be re-published in the journal with the same title and contents.
Additional Rules
Article 1 (Date of Enforcement) This provision shall come into force as soon as passed at the Board of Directors of the Society (2008.08.08).
Article 2 (Date of Enforcement) This amendment shall become effective on October 10, 2008.
Article 3 (Effective Date) This revised regulation shall be effective from August 28, 2017.
